Preparations have already begun for the nineteenth anniversary of the Political Administrative Emancipation of Rio das Ostras (April 10), which will be celebrated with an extensive lineup between April 8th to the 11th with a parade, free concerts, sports competition and other events.
Friday at 9pm, Saturday at 11pm, and Sunday at 9pm there will be free concerts performed at Camping Costazil.
The Memorial Parade will take place on Saturday, the 9th at 9am, on Avenida Amazonas in Centro. Participants will be local schools, government departments and entities of civil society organizations.
For those who like adrenaline, the secretary of Tourism, Industry and Commerce will hold the 2nd Trilhostras event on the 10th at 10am, starting at the City Park (Parque da Cidade, at the end of Av. Estado do Amazonas). This is a motocross trail ride during which the riders will visit the most beautiful landscapes of the countryside.
On Sunday the 10 at 8pm, the parish priest Alexandre Albuquerque celebrate with a Solemn Memorial Mass at Nossa Senhora da Conceição church in Centro.
