Improvements - Praia do Bosque
The city is working on improving the entire beach front of Praia do Bosque.
The heavy equipment has come out and they're making visible progress.
The old wooden kiosks are gone, soon to be replaced by permanent cement ones which will now have city water, sewer and power hooked up.
The whole length of the dirt road has been graded, with trenches dug for the pipe lines. Once the underground work has been finished, the road will be paved and new, bright street lights will be installed.
The street lights and easier access mean the neighborhood will be even safer. It is a beautiful beach and I can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished.

ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if you could post more photos as the work continues as we wont be back in Rio das Ostras until next May.
Alan.
I will keep an eye on it and get more photos as the work progresses. It's a beautiful town and I love to see it taken care of. Thanks for the comment!
