The orange city of Rio das Ostras, and what an orange!
Who knows, maybe later this year, or maybe next year, Rio das Ostras will return to normal and end up with a lighter look, without the visual pollution of our city.
The Courts of Rio de Janeiro (TCE-RJ) ordered the removal of the orange [paint in our] crosswalks in Rio das Ostras in November 2011 because the tracks were not in accordance with the standards of the National Traffic Department (Denatran). However, the orange is still bearing fruit and they have not yet removed the color from the streets of the city.
