The Jardim Mariléa plaza is being revitalized.
Another important improvement project for the people of Rio das Ostras should be ready by July. Praça Jaime Rodriguez Villar in Jardim Mariléa is being revitalized by the prefecture's Department of Urban Planning and Construction. The investment is more than R$1 million and prioritizes the implementation of a variety of entertainment options.
Installed in the center of the neighborhood, the plaza will have a park with toys and a children's play area with a maze and games of hopscotch, exercise equipment for seniors, tables for chess games, a 40 meter mesh trail network, a skateboarding park and areas for rollerblading.
Moreover, the entire area is undergoing improvements in landscaping and lighting, placement of synthetic turf on the soccer field, expansion of the concrete patio, more than 30 benches and a bike rack.
Next to the Square, residents also have the Zarour Benedict gym, which is being renovated and painted throughout.
