May 2011 - Festival of Art and Food


What: Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomi
Where: Jaime Rodrigues Villar Plaza, next to Ginásio Poliesportivo Benedito Zarour, in the Jardim Mariléa neighborhood.
When: May 6th through 8th from 6 to 10pm

During the festival there will be crafts delicious foods, snacks and desserts in a food court. There will also be live music playing each night.

On Friday, the Band Sertanejo Universitário animate the “Mariléa Feito à Mão”, on Saturday the voice and guitar of Philip Evans, and on Sunday The Route 69 Band, playing the best pop and rock, all starting at 7pm.

"Our proposal is to help generate employment and income, together with art, gastronomy and culture in a family environment where children, youths, adults and seniors can socialize in a more recreational space in Rio das Ostras," said president of the Association of Residents of the Jardim Mariléa, Sonia Tojal.
