What: “Mariléa Feito à Mão” Feira de Artesanato e Gastronomia (Art and Food Fair)
Where: Praça Jaime Rodrigues Villar, next to the Ginásio Poliesportivo Benedito Zarour, in the Jardim Mariléa neighborhood
Hours: 6pm to 10pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus holidays

What started as a one-time festival on Friday the 6th of May has been granted permanent status due to it's huge success and will continue every weekend from now on. Last weekend's fair was attended by thousands of people.
At the fair guests enjoyed the musical attractions offered by the Department of Tourism, Industry and Commerce. Residents and tourists tasted delicious soups, snacks, pizzas, yakissoba and sweets, among other handmade delights.

There was also a large contingent of the Guarda Municipal present, and the Vigilância em Saúde Team, which advised visitors on dengue prevention.
The fair will continue to offer many varieties of food, drink, arts and musical attractions every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and on holidays.
Started with the initiative of the Association of Residents of the Jardim Mariléa, the Craft and Food Fair, "Mariléa Feito à Mão" has support from the City of Rio das Ostras.
